Clarion Collection Hotel Savoy

We enjoyed our stay - the location was great and staff were helpful. A lot of evening food was included on top of breakfast, so along with our airport pick-up, we felt the price was great value. Having said that, we couldn't help but feel the hotel looked dated (beyond the bar areas) as if it needed sprucing up. So, without the above extras, our stay would seem overpriced. Our room was clean, though - no issues there. We were on the first floor facing the street, which was pretty noisy at night so if you're a light sleeper, I recommend saying this ahead of arrival to ask for a room in a quieter corner of the building.

Room definetly need some refreshment. Walls are scratched and bathroom is looking pretty ancient. Dinner was very average, not too much variety to be honest and no dessert either. Breakfast though was really fantastic and many good options. Too bad you guys are serving breakfast at 8 at weekends. This is very late for a 4* Hotel. I can imagine that many people missed breakfast because they have to catch a train in the morning or so. Staff at the reception very very nice. Very helpful and kind!

I rarely find myself penning critical reviews, but my stay at this hotel was, unfortunately, a less than satisfactory experience. First and foremost, the price point was exorbitantly high, which naturally set high expectations. However, the room was shockingly small, making it feel rather cramped. Adding to the eerie ambiance was a peculiar choice of artwork: a portrait of a long-haired woman's silhouette, which was rather unsettling to gaze upon, especially during nighttime. It's baffling to think that such an image would be chosen for a room where guests seek relaxation. The steep cost included both breakfast and dinner. Due to our late arrival on the first day, we requested the hotel to reserve our dinner. What was presented later was, to put it mildly, subpar at best, making me question the value proposition of the entire stay. The breakfast, in contrast, was decent, though it hardly made up for the previous night's culinary disappointment. In summation, given the premium pricing and the overall experience, this hotel was a letdown. Travelers seeking value for their money and a comfortable environment might want to consider other options.

Not my best experience of a hotel stay. The room was small, washroom even more so. Shower flooded the washroom everytime I took a shower. And noise insulation across rooms was poor. I could hear people talk on the phone in the adjacent room. The only reason I give the third star is that not only the breakfast but also the dinner was included in the rate. Breakfast was okay but dinner, even though simple, was better than I expected
